We are a small group of high school students that want to create awareness of "Animal Cruelty" and to make a difference in our hometown of Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico. We will always be against it because it is wrong!

Hi , My name is Mariana and I am 18 years old. I am part of a group in ThinkQuest called Animals Protectors and the project "The Cruel Reality". I am the Photographer of the project and this is my first time participating in ThinkQuest and making a blog.This project is very interesting.I am in this project to show people and change people's minds.We have to stop the animal cruelty , because it's not fair to do cruel things to animals , it's not fair that they get abused , abandoned , starved and not taken care of.The animals don't speak but they feel and I wanna speak for them.Now I have the opportunity to speak for them and I wanna take abvantage of it.

Hi, My name is José I'm 17 years old I am a participant of the Educative Platform ThinkQuest wich I've been working with since 2008-2009. I participated with a project called "Planet Keepers" where we spoke about the danger our earth is suffering because of us. Now my coach and I gathered a few friends to join us in this year's new project "The Cruel Reality". Where we open the minds of those who are not responsible with their animals. We believe that animals have the right to live a great and healthy life. I am here as a former Planet Keeper and now Animal Protector to fight for the right of these poor animals because We are their Voices.

 Hello. My name Is Zadora and I am 17 years old. I am part and the editor of Animal Protectors and the project "The Cruel Reality" because I believe in animal rights. I believe that even though they can't talk they feel and need our help too. People have lost the respect for life and these poor beings. Thanks to Thinkquest I have the opportunity of waking up people and make them realize that we are not living in a right world. I expect people to take us seriously and when we give them a message they take a minute to think about it. You'll see that a minute of your time can change your whole perspective and  you can even wake up and listen what we're trying to say.

This is our coach and English teacher Miss Montes. She's the person who introduced us to this world where by developing ourselves in a new environment we can help society to be a better and different one. Even though it hasn't been easy she's always been there guiding and pushing us to be better human beings. She's the one that has given us the tools to make this possible. This is her second year working with students in the ThinkQuest International Competition. Her first project was "Planet Keepers" which won 1st place that year and now with us "The Cruel Reality".
